Sanskruti Marathe
is a professional dancer, choreographer, actor and creator who takes pride in spreading her culture through art.
Sanskruti Marathe graduated with a BFA from York University's Acting conservatory. She has been training in Indian Classical and Folk dance forms for the past seventeen years. She was raised in India until moving to Canada to further her studies. She strongly believes her art has the power to heal and harmonize the world.
Her work is centered around personal development, the strength of vulnerability, and how to devote oneself to ones work while healing and growing. She is passionate about pushing equity and diversity and creating art that feels relevant to the radical hour we are currently in. As an actor, activist and youth leader she is learning to merge equity and revolution into art to create systemic change through art and artistic mindset. Sanskruti is also a Children's Theatre workshop/camp leader and a mindfulness in art and movement leader.
