Sierra Holder
Sierra Holder is a Toronto-based performer originally from Ottawa. As a graduated from the Honours Bachelor of Music Theatre Program at Sheridan, she is passionate about process driven, interdisciplinary work. Her first love is and always will be dance, but there is nothing like a good musical to get her blood pumping. She has been incredibly fortunate to have worked with many incredible theatres companies including: Young People’s Theatre, Theatre Aquarius, and Talk Is Free Theatre, and is so excited to keep learning. Off stage Sierra can be found helping run a non-profit called Diva Day, founded by Malindi Ayienga. Diva Day empowers young menstruators’ education by providing its community with the platform and tools to foster agency over their bodies, voices, and stories. We use arts based fundraisers to bring menstrual cups, menstrual hygiene and empowerment workshops to school aged period-havers in Kenya (and soon in Canada) so not one day of school is missed due to menstruation.
