Hal Wesley Rogers
is a multitalented performer/creator who was Alberta born, British Columbia trained, and considers all of Canada home
Hal began his career singing in church at the age of five and doing hip-hop dances choreographed with his cousin in the living room at family gatherings in Leduc, Alberta. Picking up some skills playing musical instruments along the way, his musicality evolved into a love of theatre in high school which lead to a BFA in Theatre Performance from Simon Fraser. He has performed in musicals across Canada, worked as a singer around BC and has auditioned for productions around the world. Highlights: Vancouver: Dreamgirls (Arts Club), Best Laid Plans (Patrick Street/Touchstone), and three different productions of Rent as ensemble, Angel (FCP) and as Roger (Flourishing Age). Edmonton: Hair, Jesus Christ Superstar, Sister Act (Mayfield) Hadestown (Citadel Theatre). Ontario: The Rocky Horror Show (Magnus) Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story (Thousand Islands Playhouse/Western Canada). Regina: Cinderella (Globe Theatre) Film/TV : Self Made: Inspired by the Life of Madame C. J. Walker (Netflix) & DC’s Legends of Tomorrow (CW).
He’s pursuing a career in fitness during the pandemic pause on theatre.
