Dani Jazzar
is an Arab actor, singer, dancer, Choreographer and fitness instructor.
Born in Beirut, Lebanon and raised in Sweden, Dani Jazzar trained in dance and musical theatre at the Ballet Academy of Stockholm.
He worked all over Europe before moving to Canada and making Toronto his home. International credits include: Monsoon Wedding (Berkley); Saturday Night Fever (Cologne and Scandinavian tour); Miami Nights (Düsseldorf); Fame the musical (UK tour). Canadian credits include: Bend it Like Beckham (Starvox/Toronto); Bernardo in West Side Story (Vancouver Opera, Theatre Calgary, Edmonton Citadel, Drayton Ent); UPS guy in Legally Blond (Theatre Aquarius , Drayton Ent); Joey Primo in Rock of Ages (Drayton Ent); Featured Dancer in Un Ballo in Maschera (COC); Rum Tum Tugger in Cats (Sterling); Spamalot, Rocky the Musical, 9to5 the musical, Pirates of Penzance, Man of La Mancha, Little Mermaid, Annie and more (Drayton Ent); JCS (Stage West Calgary) and several seasons in the Ross Petty Christmas Panto at the Elgin Theatre. Film/TV credits include: Designated survivor, the Boys, Traitor, the Strain, Taken, American Gods, Covert Affairs, Nikita, Mirror Mirror, Love Guru, Once upon a Mattress, The Next Step and more as well as numerous commercials.
Dani is also a choreographer to many corporate functions and events in Toronto alongside his wife Christina. He also teaches spin and jazzarcize classes when he’s not busy on contract.
