An accomplished actor, dancer, and singer, Linette was the lead in the film One Heart Broken Into Song, and worked with tap legends Savion Glover and the late Gregory Hines, playing “Elaine” opposite Mr. Hines in Bojangles. She was featured in Kim's Convenience, Murdoch Mysteries, Soul Food (Showtime), and in Blue Hill Ave, which won audience favourite at the Acapulco Black Film Festival.

She’s talented and versatile, working in film and TV; on stage; and on the radio – notably as the lead in the CBC Radio production Rush Home Road. Her dance background is equally diverse – from ballet and contemporary, to hip hop, jazz, tap, and West African styles. Linette's show METRO enjoyed a successful run at the Toronto Fringe Festival, and was a Top Ten pick in the Montreal Gazette. Critical acclaim for her choreography praised the "talented, diverse cast", and noted she “seamlessly combines ballet, jazz, hip hop, tap and well, everything”. Linette was the choreographer for After Hours (CTV); toured with Ballet Creole and Kalimba Kalimba; and performed at the Charlottetown Festival.
