Lillian King is a director, educator and artistic administrator, who has worked in many roles at many theaters--from summer stock to Broadway.

On Broadway, she was the Assistant Director on Rocky Broadway at the Winter Garden Theater and Assistant Director for Peter and the Starcatcher at NYTW, and was Associate Director for the First National Tour.

In Toronto she has worked for Musical Stage Company, Bravo Academy, Solar Stage and the Lower Ossington Theatre. Lillian served as Assistant Artistic Director and Director of Education at Northern Stage in Vermont, where she also directed Blithe Spirit and co-directed Songs for a New World. S

he graduated with her MFA in directing and certificate in Arts Administration from Boston University’s School of Theatre and for seven summers Lillian worked at the New London Barn Playhouse in New Hampshire where she directed A Little Night Music, The Student Prince, Legally Blonde and Almost, Maine. Other directing credits include: A Doll House, The Women of Henry VIII, Antigone, Henry V, and The Last Five Years (BU).

Lillian lives in Toronto with her husband Dan and daughter Charlotte, and is looking forward to collaborating on more work in Canada and the States in the future!
