Allison J. Palmer

Alison is a movement director, actor, singer, dancer, and arts educator.

She has movement directed and choreographed plays, musicals, television pilots, and flash mobs.

She has performed in theatres across Canada, TV shows (Designated Survivor, The Expanse), feature films (Downsizing, Big Gold Brick), radio ads (Rogers, Union Gas), audiobooks (Had It Coming…, by Robyn Doolittle), and countless TV commercials. After earning a B.P.H.E., B.Ed. and a B.A. from Queen’s University, she graduated from the Randolph College for the Performing Arts. Further professional development included several stints in New York City and London.


Alison has appeared in lead and supporting roles in both plays and musicals. Some highlights include Tanya in Mamma Mia!, Swing in Susan Stroman’s The Producers, Doris Walker in Miracle on 34th Street, Hunyak in Chicago, Melba Snyder in Pal Joey, and Dance Captain for the Ross Petty Production Western Canadian tour of Aladdin (also on CBC).

Beyond stage and screen, Alison has been the SpokesMom for Babies “R” Us Canada (CTV, Global), an anthem singer (Toronto Blue Jays), and a vocal soloist at Toronto’s Pride Day Service.
