Jennifer Villaverde
Actor/Singer/Writer/Theatre Maker/Arts Educator/Wife and Mother
Originally from Winnipeg, Jennifer is a 2nd generation Filipinx-Canadian currently living in Toronto. She has performed in major theatres across Canada. Most recently, she was in Wedding at Aulis at Soulpepper & Vietgone at the Royal Manitoba Theatre Centre. She is currently writing the book & lyrics to her first musical, Cruz Control, with Miquelon Rodriguez as composer and Nina Lee Aquino as dramaturg. As an arts educator, she has worked for the In the Schools & Curtain Up! programs, as well as lead instructor for the City Youth Academy for 5 summers at Soulpepper Theatre. She’s also been a Resident Arts Educator for Young People’s Theatre.
