Michelle is an indigenous storyteller from the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw and the We-Wai-Kai Nation. She grew up in Surrey BC, where she was immersed in the arts from a young age, taking singing, acting and dance lessons, auditioning for TV/film, and performing in recitals and shows.

After high school, Michelle entered the Musical Theatre Program at Capilano University, where she graduated with honours. She has been working steadily in the field across Canada since then. Favourite credits include Belle in Beauty and the Beast (Arts Club), Sophie in Mamma Mia (Arts Club), and Eponine in Les Miserables (Chemainus Theatre Festival). Michelle has also been fortunate to work at theatre companies spanning the country: Stage West Theatre, Theatre Aquarius, the Segal Centre, The Citadel, and Western Canada Theatre.

Michelle has been awarded the Ovation Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress and the Aida Broadbent Award for professional conduct and performance.

Michelle has also recently picked up writing, with a web series and a jukebox musical in the works, as well as having written her first single.
